While in college, Pastor Deborah gave her life to Lord in 1975. She was united in Holy matrimony to the late Pastor Glenn Franklyn Bostic, September 6, 1980 in Tallahassee, Florida.
Pastor Deborah Bostic’s relationship with Christ deepened and in 1982 she and her faithful husband were called to evangelism as a unique team with Helena Barrington and God's Ambassadors. Their noble and humble love for serving God's people was the catalyst which propelled them into founding New Hope New Faith Ministries, Inc. where their motto is "God is concerned about the total man".
Pastor Bostic was a committed, faithful servant of God who was an anointed and skilled psalmist. She was a virtuous woman who genuinely loved the LORD and his people. Further, Pastor Bostic was dynamically gifted with the Gift of Discernment with Vision. God opened her spiritual vision in 1977 where she began deepening her study of Angelology (the study of Angels). She became affectionately known as “the Angel Lady”. Pastor Deborah was writing her first to-be published book entitled: Angels: Who Are They and Where Do They Come From?
Pastor Deborah’s repertoire in ministry spanned over 40 years of service to kingdom building which included conference and workshop facilitator, prophetic counseling, and spiritual and marriage counseling. She coordinated regularly scheduled health seminars and monthly Intercessory Prayer meetings through her church. Pastor Bostic was a member of the Wailing Women Worldwide, Legacy (FAMU Alumni Choral) and the Birthday Club. In 1992 Pastor Bostic was called to co-pastor New Hope New Faith Ministries, Incorporated alongside her beloved husband, the late Pastor Glenn F. Bostic. In 2013 she served as senior pastor.
Pastor Bostic received her formal education at the Florida A&M University and further studied at the Florida State University. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education and a Master of Education Degree in Guidance and Counseling. She held professional certifications with the Florida Department of Education in Elementary Education, Guidance and Counseling, and ESOL Endorsement. Pastor Bostic served 38 years as a public-school educator, of which 22 years were in Gadsden County, Florida. Her career led her to Leon County Schools for 16 years, where she accomplished her professional goal of becoming a Guidance Counselor at James Rickards High Schools. After retirement, Pastor Bostic continued to keep her love for public education relevant by substitute teaching and volunteering within Leon County Schools.
Pastor Bostic studied at the Tallahassee Bible Institute, under Rabbi Stanley Garfein at Temple Israel and at Day Spring Theology Institute, Panama City, FL. She enjoyed the full-time pastorate, traveling in ministry, Christian Counseling and facilitating an annual scholarship fund drive in the name of her beloved husband, Glenn F. Bostic.
