Richard "Dick" Emmett DeChene

Richard “Dick” DeChene, age 84, was born into eternal life on January 14, 2023. He was born on August 26, 1938 to beloved parents Mary and Peter DeChene. Rich was predeceased by his wife Margaret (Cariola) DeChene in 1982 and predeceased by his wife Nadine (Bragg) DeChene in 2019. Richard was the loving father of Michelle (John) Hennessy, Bob (Kim), Jim (Kris), Jackie (Scott) Eckstein, Carolyn (Tony) Sidari, Darren Bragg and Adam (Mary Laura) Bragg; legendary grandpa of Catherine (Tim), Matthew (Brendan), Johnny (Sarah), Michael, Maggie (Dan), Jack, Grace, Megan (Chris), Amanda (Matt), Haley (Danny), Dominick, Samuel, Emma, Zach, Taylor (Jake) and Maggie; dearest great grandfather of Emmett, Oliver, Pauly, Addison, Avery, Reagan, Jaxson and Joie; devoted brother of Bob (Ludo) DeChene and fond uncle of many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Richard enjoyed a successful 41 year career as an executive with CNA Insurance. In retirement, his passions were golf, cooking, gardening, singing and playing his accordion. He was a proud senior member of the SLUGS at Killearn CC and a member of the Men’s Choir at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
