Ronnie’s love was basketball which he continued playing throughout his life; on town teams, refereeing and always shooting baskets with his children. So, when we hear thunder in the sky, we will think of him dribbling and dunking the ball for the team, doing what he loved with no limits. Ron, started his own business as a barber and then became a successful futures broker until his retirement. Accomplishments include a basketball state championship in 1958 and as a Scott City councilman he advocated for the municipal pool still in use today. Ronnie was known for his pranks and orneriness. He loved his family, reading the Bible, Kansas University basketball, animals, gardening, fishing, long walks, sunrises and sunsets, and country living.

Donated to Alzheimer's Project. Could not find a way to associate my gift with Ronnie on their website, so I wanted to leave a note here.
