SGT Kandagor,

It is with deep sadness to read about your passing today.

It seemed like yesterday when you would stop by with a big smile to see us in our offices. You brought a delightful cheer to every room you entered.

As I watched your tribute video today, it reminded me of the importance of life itself and how we usually take it for granted. It was great to see the many photos with your family, and to see a part of your life that many did not know about.

I would like to include a special thanks to all of the people who put together your video, and to include my deepest condolences to all of your family.

May you Rest In Peace in heaven. You have touched many lives, to include my own. I was blessed to know you and spend time with you.

My heart is so very heavy SGT Kandagor. It was an honor to know such a happy, genuine soul. You would walk into a room and it would instantly light up because no matter what, you had a smile on your face. Rest so peacefully

SGT Alex Kandagor was one of those people who could light up a room the moment he stepped into it. I had the pleasure to work with this young man. I was extremely sadden to hear about him leaving the Earth. Take your rest now Alex. I know you will be looking down on your wife and children. I know you will be their angel. May God bless your family during this hard time. Thank you for the memories brother.

SGT Kandagor was an incredible young man who had the world within his grasp. He was one of the hardest workers and best young Soldiers I've had the pleasure to serve with in 17 years. I remember his smile and his tremendous professional demeanor, such a gentleman. He was a great person to just have in the room. A great teammate and young man. I proud to say he was part of our Sustainment Nation in the 4 and SPO shop. I know he would have been a tremendous success as an Officer in the Army. I am grateful that my spouse and I were able to get up to DC and visit while he was in Walter Reed; he was one of our own. You'll be missed, be at peace.

Rest easy Alex, tuonane baadaye.
You have been handpicked to be that beautiful rose on His table.
You were one kindhearted, loving and free spirited person. You were really good at keeping in touch with your friends.
You promised to visit us in Australia once your family settle down and I was looking forward to seeing Mercy a decade after we shared a cube at Kapropita..
You used to tell me how you had a good friend in my brother Andrew at kbt high school and all the things you did together, we talked about helping our family to get a better life, you were really good at driving ideas home and following up on them..
I am glad to have known you and calling kbt home, I choose to celebrate your life. You have done your part champ, we are left to keep lighting our candles for others to see it..
Mercy, Adrian, family and friends together in prayers as we go through this difficult time.
