Mom, how I will miss your smiling face and the kindness that you was felt. You will be remembered as a Godly wife, mother, great grandmother, great great grandmother. I know that God has you in that place that we call Heaven, where we will meet with you someday, until then I shall live with all the good memories that you have left me with. I thank God and was a honor to have a mother like. Rest in peace and see you when the Lord calls me home someday. LOVE, LOVE, and miss you terribly already.

My Grandmother was a driving force in our family. She was the most amazing woman I knew. I loved to hear her stories of when she was a child and played with the Indian pottery in Puerto Rico. I loved going to her house on Friday nights when my father played dominos with my grandfather and the other men in the family. She was always ready to receive them with cafe con lech, bread or surigillitos de maiz. I loved how she loved me and most importantly my children. My son Nicolas, was her "Goyito". Abuela, I am going to miss you so much. I love you and I will speak of you with so much love and pride to my grandchildren and generations to come will know who "Guela Melin" was. I hope to be half the grandmother you were to us all. May you rest in God's glory, until we meet again. - Your first born grandchild, Lisa
