Dolores Julia Knight

June 3, 1931September 24, 2021

Dolores J. Knight of Wimauma, Florida; formerly of Tallassee, Alabama went to see her lord and savior September 24, 2021 at 90 years of age.

A graduate of Tallassee High school, class of 1949, she went on to get her BA in Teaching and Missionary work at Tennessee Temple. She then went on to teach at Temple Heights Christian, Providence Christian, Ambassador Christian Academy, Brandon Heights Christian, East Bay Christian and many more. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Holt Ledbetter; father, Herman Ledbetter; sister, Mae Ellen (Mutt) Lanier; and daughter, Linda Faye Knight. She survived by her husband of 61 years, Albert D. Knight Jr.; son, Stacy (Janet) Knight; and live-in granddaughter, Maegan Knight; along with three other grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity or non-profit of your choice in her name.

A graveside service for Dolores will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Garden of Memories Crematory, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
