Juanita was more than just my mother-in-law she was my friend source of strength a confidant a friend and a mother she was my friend someone I can count on pull my ears when it was necessary and always kept me on a straight path treated me like her own child not just like a son-in-law and always told me to keep my head up regardless of what other people thought of me she love me took me in respect me and always at MEYER all the things I did for her at a time when I needed a friend my lowest point in my life when I lost my father and my two grandmothers she stepped in and told me that everything would be fine that if ever I needed someone to talk to to express whatever hurts I’ve had she was there to hear me to console me what can I say of the mother-in-law that I have I will miss you dearly I will never forget the type of relationship we had I love you more than you’ll ever know I miss you and I’m Mr. jokes we shared God bless you and I’ll see you again love your crazy son-in-law jr.

Grandma loved her family. Her wisdom, advice, & occasional sterness guided many of us. She put her heart into everything she did from cooking to knitting. And who could forget those many afternoons & evenings watching those telenovelas with her. She loved music and to dance. Grandma always looked her best when the occasion called for it. She was spirited, fierce, strong, spoke her mind, kind, and just full of life. Her favorite color was Purple. The purple color stands for Royality. She was a Queen. And this is how I will remember her. Grandma you are at peace now dancing with your husband grandpa and looking down at all of us. We love you and you will be missed. May you rest in eternal peace.

I always knew that my great-grandmother was a tough woman, but I also knew that it was for a good reason. Juanita Daliz was a woman who endured, loved, nurtured, and cared for everyone as if they were her own. I love and miss you grandma, and I thank you for making me into the man that I am today.
-With love, Chris 💙

I loved our 2hr conversation and all her wonderful words of knowledge she thought me to be a great cook and a good mother a wise wife and an amazing grandmother. This woman left me the greatest gift of all and that gift is Love. Today I’m hurting cause your gone I don’t know what to do but one thing that I’m sure of I’ll never stop loving you. Love you mom
