ADD A MEMORY
The Troy Family

February 20, 2020

Kurt was a great friend to our patriarch, Zigfield Troy, and then to all of the Troys through his loyal friendship and support at our family’s business, the Zigfield Troy Golf Range near Chicago. He not only enjoyed playing golf and talking about golf at our practice range, he was always looking for ways to lend a hand in whatever way he could so that others would enjoy “Ziggy’s” as much as he did. His passion for people, golf, machinery, and his other interests was ever present, and he was a man of action. We have missed him since he moved to Florida, and we miss him even more now.
Our hearts go out to Eric, Otto, family, and friends with his passing. May your memories of Kurt be a constant blessing to you.

We have enjoyed many conversations about healthcare, politics and Germany at our Sunday meetings at Panera Bread. Kurt was a kind and very knowledgeable man in so many areas. I know we will miss his political views this year in the 2020 election. He was a man that believed in Making America Great Again!!
You will be missed, friend. Rest in peace. Rebecca and Anthony

I hung out with Kurt multiple times on the driving range in Tampa. He loved to hit balls. Watching it fly a long way. We loved talking about theories on the golf swing. Best ways to hit it far. What a great guy! RIP. Enjoyed our talks.

Kurt and I only spoke a few times and those few times were enough to know he was a great man, Father and grand father, his son Eric and I spoke all the time about our fathers and laughed about how similar they were, maybe they will cross paths and watch over us on our journeys threw life. Kurt will never be forgotten and the conversations will never stop so our loved ones know they will never be forgotten.

Kurt was a regular part of the Zigfield Troy Golf Range in Illinois and loved to hit balls, talk about his friend Ziggy and share the latest joke. We will miss him.
