Louis Entrialgo was born July 3, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey, to Jose Entrialgo Manso and Aurelia Nava, who had come to the United States in pursuit of the American dream.
Unfortunately, those were difficult times and they decided to return to Asturias, Spain. After a while back in Spain, in order to avoid the war, they sent Louis back to the U.S since he was a citizen, only to eventually be drafted into the Korean War, where he served in the U.S Army in a M.A.S.H. unit as an x-ray technician.
Those who knew Louis in the 1960’s and the 1970’s knew him as the smiling face of the Villa Nueva in Plattekill, New York which he managed with his first wife Amor, with whom he had three children, Cuchi, Pepe and Christina.
After many years, he moved on, eventually married Fifi and merged families adding two stepdaughters, Carmen and Mari.
Louis and Fifi were proprietors of Mama Brava in Middleton, New York, a popular pizzeria restaurant. But, there came a time where he decided retirement was calling, it was time to enjoy the fruits of their labor. They packed up and relocated to Tampa, Florida. They’ve made Tampa their home for the past 26 years and have made some wonderful friends. They have spent the years travelling as that was a passion especially visiting friends and family in Gijon, Spain.
Louis will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Maria (Fifi) Entrialgo; his son, Jose Luis Entrialgo and his wife Christine Entrialgo; his 4 daughters, Amor Moffat and her husband Robert Moffat, Christina Entrialgo, Carmen Iza Persico and Maria Iza; his brother, Jose Entrialgo; and his 12 grandchildren, Adam Persico, Allegra Persico, Jake Spellacy, Joseph Entrialgo, Alyssa Entrialgo, Madeline Greco, Maya Greco, Mickey Greco, Bobby Moffat, Patrick James Moffat, Scott Moffat, and Aimee Moffat.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Louis' memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis organization.
