Mrs. Nancy B SRINIVASAGAM

July 25, 1943February 10, 2021

Nancy Srinivasagam (Bailey) passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, in Tampa, Fla., her family announces with profound sadness. Her parents, Herbert and Marian, and cherished, Narasimman Srinivasagam, preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved children, Kamala (Kate) Vasagam, Nalini (David) Turner, Rachel (Sean) McDonough and Shekar Srinivasagam. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, who were the light of her world and brought their Gaggy such joy, Liam, Breanna, Dylan, Madeline, Jacqueline, Lucas and Lily. She additionally leaves behind her dear cousins, Arlene, Matt, Debbie and Aley. Nancy was a proud native of Pittsburgh, where she lived for 68 years before retiring in Tampa, Fla. A graduate of Our Lady of Mercy Academy and Bethany College, where she was president of her sorority Phi Mu and an accomplished classical soprano, she worked as a social worker and in medical offices before her retirement. A devoted member of the Carlow Campus School and Sisters of Mercy communities, she was also involved with the Sri Venkateswara Temple and Indian communities in Pittsburgh and Tampa, Fla. Nancy touched many lives with her generosity of spirit, empathy and kindness. She was a lover of holidays, chocolate, potato chips and HGTV, a prolific consumer of news and scented candles and her commentary during Steelers' games was legendary. Her family's lives will truly never be the same without her. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be sent in Nancy's honor to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America at www.myasthenia.org. Due to current circumstances, a private ceremony will be held at a later date.
