

Born in Ocala, FL, on May 12, 1936, Shirley spent many years working for Thatcher Glass Manufacturing Company in Tampa, FL. She went on to become a baker for Publix, where she retired in 1999.
Shirley found great joy in the simple things. She loved spending time on her front porch in the mountains of Franklin with her beloved dog, Bear. Her home was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay or wanted a visit.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jack Boughner, Hubert Campbell, husband of 11 years, father and mother Challie and Rena Hurley, brothers William and Leonard, sister Darlene, son Gary Stanley, son-in-law Tony Hernandez, and grandson, Blake Stanley.
She is survived by her children Larry (Glenda) Stanley, Cheryl (Reb) Boles, Renee Hernandez, Jody Kott, her grandchildren Christopher Martin, Kayla (Joshua) Robertson, Megan Ritter, Amanda Hernandez, Hannah Boles, Taylor (Courtney) Fulton, Zachary Kott, her great grandchildren Joshua Ritter, Addison Belville, Grey, Cale, Stella and Maeve Robertson and Elliot Fulton, her brother Leslie (Joan) Hurley, sister-in law Gina Hurley, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A service celebrating her life will be held at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL on Tuesday, November 4. The family will receive visitors at 1pm followed by a service at 2pm. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park at 3:00 pm.
Her legacy will live on in the love she shared, the honest lessons she taught, and every front porch sunset over the mountains.
