Paul Randall Brown passed away on October 18, 2020 in Knoxville, TN. He had just celebrated his 80th birthday in June. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Roselea Brown, his two sons, Gregory Scott and Anthony Preston, and his five grandchildren, Heidi Brown, Joshua Brown, Abby Brown, William Brown, and Molly Bennett (Brown). He was also blessed with three great grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Paul is a United Stated Air Force Veteran and served his country with great pride from 1957-1962, and also played on the Air Force Basketball Team. He loved to be physically active and continued that in his personal life after the Air Force by enjoying long bike rides on the Comet Trail in Georgia and golfing when he had the time.
Anyone that knew Paul could immediately recognize his creativity and ability to build or create anything that he applied himself to. The majority of his life was spent outside working to beautifully sculpt and care for the land that he loved so much. He carefully created beauty with his hands all of his life, from his artwork, to his music, to his deep love for flowers and nature, he always challenged himself and chased that challenge until he had mastered it. He encouraged everyone around him to pursue an education and to push yourself to achieve your goals.
In accordance with his wishes, a funeral will not be held. There will be a private Celebration of Life for the family to scatter his ashes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider placing a donation to the Crossroads Community Ministries in Atlanta Ga and/or that you consider planting a flower or tree in his honor.
Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
