She met the love of her life, a US Veteran named Joseph Latina in France during War time in 1945. They married and she came over to the US on a War Bride Ship. Mrs. Latina was married 60 years to Joseph before he passed in 2005.
She is survived by a daughter, Anna-Maria McGregor (Bruce) and two brothers still in France.
She is preceded in death by her husband, and one son, T. Daniel Latina (2014).
A visitation for Laurette will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Funeral Home, 12690 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9715 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
