Verna was a precious lady. Thru the years, she was a friend no matter what. I so appreciate her and her husband’s love for our nephew and her grandson, Josh. As a family, we will always be grateful for all they have done for him.

She was always in the kitchen when I was there. Verna was always cooking something while Carl would sit in the kitchen with her. Rarely saw her out of the kitchen. Always had great homemade everything. She was a true homemaker. Good memories of her.

I have known Verna for many years and have enjoyed her friendship. She was a Godly wife and mother and a faithful church member. God has blessed her with wonderful family and she will be sorely missed.
