Pattye Sue Schorlemmer

Pattye graduated from Forrest Avenue High School with aspirations of becoming a nurse. She achieved her goal when she graduated from Baylor University and became an R.N. She served her community as nurse at Baylor Hospital for over 20 years.

Sue loved to travel and took many girl trips around the world. She met and married the love of her life, Brother Chuck Schorlemmer. She was a devoted mother and minister's wife. She left nursing for several years to raise her children. Once her children were in school she returned to her calling as a nurse. First, as Dr. Mull’s nurse, and then she became the school nurse at Terrell ISD where she was affectionately known as Nurse Sue. Her work in nursing was one expression of her dedication to serving others with kindness, compassion and love.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby K Lawrence; her husband, Bro.Chuck Schorlemmer; son, Lester Schorlemmer; and special cousins, Harold Ray Johnson & Jim Pat Johnson.

Pattye is survived by her daughter, Elisabeth Wilson & husband Wesley; daughter-in-law, Tisha Weintraub and husband Preston; her bonus son Robert Johnson; grandchildren, Shelby Nowland, Abbye Ross & husband DJ, Clayton Carmichael, Christian Carmichael, Jennifer Rawlinson & husband Justin, Lee Heo, Emerson Weintraub, and Ava Weintraub; and great grandchild Kenzie Lane Ross all to cherish her memory.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Terrell, Texas with interment to immediately follow at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell, Texas. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.

Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Patrick Johnson, Christian Carmichael, Jacob Ross, Jon Frank, Jimmy Calvert, Cody Blackburn, Clayton Carmichael.
