Mrs. Works was born July 17th, 1950 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Circle J Cowboy Church, Texarkana, Arkansas . Some of the things she loved were drag racing, gardening, going to Galveston, Texas, the Houston Astros and loved the outdoors and going to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Works Sr. and her son Donald Works Jr. and one grandson Christopher Pierce.
Survivors include her 3 children and their spouses; Carlton " Todd " and Rosalie Works of Texarkana, Arkansas, Christy Works Smith of Texarkana, Arkansas and Tienna and Lester Littlejohn of Texarkana, Texas. She also leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren; Lake Works, Jaylee Pierce, Colby Works, Carlie Morrison, Alleia Graves, Cadence Grimes Works, Camaan Works, Parker and Ashton McCrary and Typhani and Justin Johnson and her great grandchildren; Ryder Pierce, Remington Pierce, Kenzlee McCrary, Paesyn McCrary , Myla McCrary and Cutter Johnson.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 12th, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at East Funeral Home.
Memorial Services are scheduled for Monday, August 12th, 2019 to begin at 2:00 p.m. at East Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel with Pastor Rufus Robinson officiating.
