I remember when I was just 15 and 1st met Mom and Pop Upchurch in 1978. Charles told them he was going to marry me and both Pop and Mom laughed! Pop said...your marring a Deaton girl son...you got your work cut out for you!
We had a many great memories of fish kills, camping, hunting camps, with both mom and Pop. Canning, quilting over the dining table...
Both drinking schlitz beer then....lol
Our 2nd child Joshua was born Pop took him in the bed with them lol Josh peed on Pop...I have a lifetime of memories and will cherish each and every one. Edna Elizabeth, and George Upchurch were the best mother and father in laws I could have ever ask for, they were more like Parents.

I will always remember seeing him working hard in that beautiful garden every year as we drove by. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
