Letha Mae Schaeffer, 91, of Fouke, AR passed away, January 8, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Schaeffer was born August 21, 1927 in Fordtran, TX. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ for 35 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harold Schaeffer; son, Larry Schaeffer; and a great grandson, Lane Alan Massey.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Lalla Schaeffer of San Antonio, TX, Michael and Rena Schaeffer of Atlanta, TX and Mark and Linda Schaeffer of Fouke, AR; sisters, Barbara Hall, Peggy Meineke and Juanita Freeman; brothers, Barnie Stevens, Jr. and Jerry Stevens; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at East Memorial Chapel, 2807 Moores Lane, Texarkana, TX. with Chris Hooten officiating. Burial will be in Sylverino Cemetery, Fouke, AR under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2019 at the funeral home.
