Ruby Mae Freeman, 99, of Texarkana, TX passed away May 11, 2018 in a local assisted living facility. Mrs. Freeman was born June 7, 1918 in Redwater, TX. She was a member of Buchanan United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Freeman; daughter, Nadine Elledge; son, James Freeman; and grandsons, Ken Freeman and Dearil Jackson, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter Inez Jackson of Redwater, TX; son Billy Freeman of Texarkana, AR; son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Rita Freeman of Texarkana, TX; 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many many great great grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, May 14, 2018 at Buchanan United Methodist Church with Keith Ducroz and Roy Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the funeral home.
