Joseph W. Proulx, 89, passed away November 16, 2017. He born June 13, 1928 and spent his live as a retired Metropolitan Police Officer. He is survived by five sons, their wives, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a special lady, Evelyn Matthes of Hawthorne. Joseph lived in Leesburg for 20 years in the Hawthorne community in Leesburg. He was involved in many community activities, including shuffleboard, where he made it to a pro level. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May God bless and watch over him.
