Robert A Dunlea

Surviving Bob is his wife Mary, son Christopher, and Jonathan of MA and their spouses Patricia and Emma and their children Alex, Ellen, Lily and Jack. Also surviving Bob are his brothers Ed from Maine, Bill from NH and their spouses Linda and Joann. Also his brother Dan from The Villages and his significant other Ruthy St Amand. His Surviving sisters Pat Heon from CT, Jane Cuthbert from NH and Bettie Lodge from GA. Their spouses are Moe, Don and Bruce. He was also very close to Mary’s siblings, Ruth & Jin Yoon from CA and Tim & Linda Carroll of The Villages.

Bob grew up in Reading, MA but lived in numerous places due to his occupation. Other than Reading, Bob spent most of his life in Palm City, FL and The Villages, FL. He earned a BS degree in Nuclear Engineering from Lowell Technological Institute (now U Mass Lowell) and was a professional (mechanical) engineer in PA and FL.

Bob loved his small engineering business mainly designing screened enclosures. Prior to owning his own business, he worked at numerous power plants around the world including the US. He is a published author (trade article) and taught mathematics on every educational level. Bob loved teaching.

Bob was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at Orange Blossom Hills CC in The Villages and Martin Downs CC in Palm City, FL. In his younger years, he was also an outstanding hockey, baseball and soccer player. He has achieved the status of duplicate bridge life master with the ACBL. He was a big Red Sox and Patriots fan.
