Not a day goes by that my heart doesn't recall a loving memory of Laurie. I have known her since kindergarten (I was a very long time ago). I am a much better person for having known her and having her helping ways and beautiful spirit in my early life. I do take heart and have some peace in knowing that her spirit lives on in the lives of you, Pat, and your blessed children. No matter what, Laurie always had that heart-warming smile as well as the most kind and gentle ways. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers everyday. May God grant you all peace of mind and heart in knowing that Laurie now sits with the Lord and on your shoulder watching over you from above.

Precious Laurie what a great sister-in-law you were and are! You always made us feel so welcome and always made us laugh! I will miss your smile, and your yummy peanut butter treats and the way you were so sweetly shy. I miss you so much and I know I'll see you on the other side, I love you.... Fly with the angels my sweet.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. We remember Laurie's sense of fun on the Mediterranean cruise (2010). We were privileged to share your 30th wedding anniversary in Venice. The dance was truly memorable. Pat, may God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I feel blessed to have known Laurie and her infectious smile and humor. The closeness this family shares is amazing and I know you guys will carry each other through. "Rather than mourn the absence of the flame, let us celebrate how brightly it glowed." I celebrate you Laurie and I'm here for you guys if you need anything.~Debbie Alton, The Woodlands, TX.

I grew up next door to Laurie and the Jordy family until I married. I was born on her 7th birthday and always looked up to her, just like one of my big sisters. I was so happy to see her beautiful children today, I know she was so proud of. It was truly an honor to have known her.
