Cisco and I worked together in Shell Trading on a team of four for a couple of years. One time we both went to London for IP Week meetings, and one of the evenings we didn't have any particular plans so we decided to grab dinner together at the restaurant in our hotel. IP Week typically always happens around Valentine's Day, and that evening happened to actually be Valentine's Day. So here we were, this man and woman, eating together on Valentine's Day at this hotel restaurant. Well, they had this little trio of violin players walking around playing romantic Valentine's music and sure enough they stop at our table and start playing for us. We were both laughing and so embarrassed! We laughed about this memory many times over the years. Cisco was always so positive, so full of energy, and when I think of him I think of his giggle and smile as he would be talking about something. I will miss him greatly.

Cisco was a business acquaintance who became a trusted friend. His legacy in the business world is one of honesty and fairness. But, I admired him most for his sincerity and courage. I feel truly blessed for the time we spent. He will be deeply missed.

Met Melquíades in Aruba when he worked for Coastal. His Dad was always a very respectable person and admired in Venezuela and Cisco also kept his footsteps. Nice person and certainly will be missed.
My deep condolences to the family and friends.

Initially, I knew Cisco as a work colleague but he quickly became a valued friend. We sat next to each other on an energy trading desk for a number of years. There was never a dull moment. We shared enjoyable conversations about music and movies and spirited discussions about politics and world issues. I particularly enjoyed listening to him fluently conduct business in several different languages. It was beautiful to hear. I will always remember his kindness and the love he always expressed for his wife Kelly and his children. He was a gentle soul and an amazing person. I will never forget him.

Dan and I are so sorry to hear this news. Cisco was always so sweet. The last time I saw him was helping out in the kitchen at Megan’s wedding. We had such a fun time laughing with him.

Kelly, Amanda and Alex, we will certainly be praying for you and the whole family. I know your hearts are broken.

May the God of all peace and comfort wrap His arms around you and hold you tight.

Love, Dan and Kay

Cisco was an incredible man! He was so smart, caring, kind, generous, witty, and willing to help. I was fortunate to gain an uncle when he married Kelly, and I have so many memories with him! When my husband, Aaron, and I were stationed in Las Vegas with the Air Force, Kelly, Cisco and the kids lived nearby in California. We were able to spend time with them out there, and he willingly drove me around to see all the Hollywood sights even thoughI know he hated the traffic! A few years later, when we moved to Texas, they were the only family we had in that state, and we were always welcome at their house! He drove Kelly and the kids across the state to come see us, too. We even got to spend a day with him across the pond when he was on a business trip and we were stationed overseas. I cherish the many Thanksgivings laughing together playing games, making his sweet potatoes without the marshmallows, checking out the sale ads while not even thinking about going out in the Black Friday crowds, and having conversations about coffee, cars, and movies with him. He always knew where to tell us to get the best priced gas before we headed home :) He was always helpful.
I am praying for Kelly, Amanda, Alex, Cisco's parents, and all of his siblings at this very difficult time. I am thankful for the memories I have of Cisco! Love you!!!
