Margie Lambeth Grubb

A resident of this area all of her life, Margie was born on December 31, 1927 in Davidson County, a daughter to the late Lewis Burton and Dora Sechrist Lambeth. She was a member of Oak Hill Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed listening to John Hagee, watching Song of the Mountains, and traveling out west.

Surviving are her husband, Aaron Grubb of the home; two daughters, Bonnie Pierce and husband Dolan and Phyllis Harris and husband Barney, all of Thomasville; son, Darrell Grubb and wife Beth of Pelzer, SC; six grandchildren, Allen Grubb, Ashley Grubb, Chad Harris, Joel Pierce, Clay Childs, and Clint Childs; ten great grandchildren, Sam Harris, Jed Harris, Skylar Grubb, Sydni Pierce, Kirsten Pierce, Blake Grubb, Bryson Grubb, Samantha Grey, Stacy Hull, and Justin Canady; sister, Polly Rogers of Thomasville; and special cousin, Dee Myers.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, July 19, 2018 in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
