John Fitzgerald

Loving and loved, he was a thoughtful and caring husband, father, grandfather, neighbour and friend. John passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Sunnybrook hospital at age 66, surrounded by family and friends. Beloved husband of Patricia, loving father of Richard Fitzgerald, Sarah and Shane Jensen, Greg Sauve and Sheena Cooper, and Luke and Ally Sauve, doting grandfather to Mary, Connor and Emma. Born in Thurcroft, Yorkshire, England. Beloved by his nieces and nephews in Canada and England. Treasured brother-in-law of Marguerite and Paul, Susan and Larry, and the late, much-loved Ted. John will be remembered for his wit, sense of humour, captivating stories and his incredible gift for putting people at ease. Friends will be welcomed at R.S.
