I remember when Art took jr and I to Cherry Creek to ride the mini bike in the late 1960’s riding in the back of his pickup on dirt roads ,also when he was working at Stapleton building the hanger for Continental Airlines big enough for a B747 he took me out there for a tour of it. When ma Esquibel go her Fury in 1967 he wired 2x4 to the brake and gas pedals for her . Big Art (as I called him) always had a joke or comment for me when I was growing up . Big Art was a second dad to me when growing up. Many more times he took me somewhere or did something with me. He encouraged me in my youth.

Being part of your family, many years ago, brings back a flood of touching memories. It's always sad to feel the lose of a loved one.
The pictures attached, is one of my favorite memories. This was the beginning of my life with the Esquibel's.
