Dear Bob and Elaine,
We are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a great lady.
We have very fond memories of "Auntie Boo" when we were growing up...visiting a cottage in Fenlon Falls and your home on Foxwarren in Toronto. She was a very special friend to Mom, and their friendship lasted a lifetime. (Somewhere in our house, we still have the picture of our Moms in their bunny suits :) )
We will never forget Auntie Boo and Uncle Jim. Sending love to you all.

Hi Bob & Elaine & family
I wanted to send my condolences to all of you. I always remember when I would take your Mom to church on Sundays at Allendale, we had to make sure we had her purse, even though there was nothing in it except her hanky. She was such a delight. My thoughts & prayers are with you.
Where are you living now? Remember the hours Elaine that we had at Dr.K’s?

I have volunteered at Allendale for almost 35 years & Alberta was one of my favourite residents. I always enjoyed our visits & the wonderful smiles she gave me.
Whenever I would come around with my Travelling Tuck Shop cart, Alberta always liked to get a couple of cans of regular Coke & a Coffee Crisp & Kit Kat chocolate bar. She always preferred to pay cash instead of charging them to her account.
Alberta attended the Sunday morning worship services that I conducted at Allendale & seemed to always enjoy them.
I was looking forward to seeing Alberta just as soon as this terrible pandemic has ended. Although I am going to miss not being able to see Alberta again, I am grateful for all the wonderful everlasting memories I have of her.

Saddened to know of your Mother's passing. So many memories come back . Regular card nights with Alberta and Jim - we kept running scores - lunches after church - Alberta and I would laugh about our favorite menu of cheese dreams. To you Bob, and your family, Andrea and Paul join me in sending our sincere sympathy and love.

Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Allendale Nursing Home in Milton for the care and loving given to Alberta, our mother, for the past several years. She enjoyed her time there and was happy and content. Thanks to all who sent us notes of condolence and prayers since she passed. She will be remembered by the many people she knew and loved, both family and friends.
