Francesco Calderan

Francesco, a proud Alpino, a passionate carpenter, a loving husband and father, born on October 4, 1932, in Pordenone (PN), Italy, peacefully earned his wings on September 5, 2023, with his wife and daughter by his side.

He now reunites with his parents, Antonio and Luigia Calderan, and his eight siblings: Amalia, Santina, Ermete, Federico, Paolo, Domenico, Italo, and Narciso, in eternal rest.

Married in Paris, France on March 25, 1961, Francesco leaves behind a legacy of 62 years of love with his wife, Gaetana, and the cherished memories of his daughter, Amalia. He will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay respects at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Please note that masks are optional for the visitation and funeral service, but you are welcome to wear one if it makes you more comfortable.

The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 10:30 am at St. Clare’s Church (1118 St. Clair Ave. W. Toronto). We kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the service, allowing the family some private moments before.

Francesco will be laid to rest at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St) following the service.
