A year has passed. Still I miss Ruth so much. I know her passing left a big hole in Mom's heart too, so she had to go too, to be with all her old and cherished friends and family.
I miss Ruth, and my mother too. Two wonderful women I will never ever forget.
Love to all of you.

I think about Ruth every day, and miss her. There isn't a route that I can drive home from work without thinking of her. In this way she continues to bless my heart and influence me daily. Love to all the family.

Ruth was a good friend and willing to share. She allowed a friend and me to go to their cottage. She always opened up her heart and shared good things. A lovely lady. Wish I had spent more time with her.

Hebrews 13:7 "Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith". Grandma has left quite a legacy behind her, affecting so many people! I have met so many more people lately who belong to my family - people who also call her "Grandma" or "Mama". I am honoured to have loved Grandma, and to have been loved by her. She was my spiritual mentor and taught me how to live. I hope that my life can be a testimony to the legacy she leaves behind.

Hebrews 13:7 "Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith". Grandma has been my spiritual mentor and has taught me about what it means to live! I hope and pray that I can live in some of the legacy she has left to me. I have met so many more people who belong to my family - people who also call her "Grandma" and "Mama". What a testimony and I am honoured to have known and loved her.

Ruth is part of my earliest memories. Those days when we were all together, both of our parents and us kids, were happy days. More recently, Ruth was such a role model to me, demonstrating love and tenderness: she set the bar high. She will live in my memory and in my heart forever. Love and prayers to all of you, Robert, Debbie, Susan, Stephen and Joanne and families.

To my dear cousins Robert, Debbie, Susan, Stephen and Joanne. I am heartbroken for your loss and for all of us who have known and loved Auntie Ruth. She has left us a legacy of how to love, accept and forgive. I have learned so much from sharing time with her. She loved you all so much and you have been the best kids anyone could ask for. I am missing being there to hug, laugh and cry with you. Please know I will think of you all in the days ahead and on Tuesday, I will face the ocean with Mardi and Bev and honour the life of a remarkable woman. Love Daryl

I loved Ruths gentle voice and sweetness that surrounded her. She was so loving and kind towards everyone. What i remember most about her is that she loved our Mother dearly and she would always hug us and say "i love you "kids" so much". Our love and thoughts are with the family now as Ruth will always be remembered with great love. Beverly & Bob and family
