My fondest memories of Shirley is when we were children growing up. We were cousins and we would visit each other quite often and play either in Sherwood Park by our house or Riverdale Park by Shirley’s. We loved to have sleepovers.
Shirley recently told me she always felt like the cousin being foisted onto my sister Norma and her friends. But I let her know we enjoyed every chance to be with her Shirley was always happy and had a great sense of humour and a laugh that was more like a giggle. She was so quiet. One of the nicest people I have met. Shirley is in this picture with my dad holding her as sits on the left and her dad holding my sister Pat on the right. She is just over 1 yr old Norma is in the seat and Gwen and I are standing. One of our first get togethers. Shirley will always be in my memories.

Dear Jim and Family: All of our family was so heartbroken to hear of Shirleys passing. We remember with fondness our dinner get togethers at each others home, and we always knew that we would have an amazing dinner at your home. Shirley was a wonderful cook, wife, mother and grandmother. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and we send hugs to you all.
