Shashi, your loss has left a void in my life.
Thanks to my friend Jeanne you became part of my life and stayed with me till the very end.

Whilst you were here in India, we spent memorial times together and even after you immigrated to Canada you never failed to keep in touch. On every trip to India, you made it a point to fix up multiple get togethers. You were very happy , loving , caring , generous and fun loving guy.

Your memories will always be with me and will miss our time together.
May your soul rest in peace.

Marilyn Mathews.

Dearest Jeanne
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband. I never got the opportunity to personally meet him but I know he was a very nice person. I still have the movie he bought me when you mentioned to him that I wanted to see it.
My prayers and thoughts are with you Jean. In this difficult time may you hear the God of peace and love whisper quietly "I am with you always"

Hi Jean
Ranjan and I offer you our deepest condolences on Shashi's passing away. May his soul rest in peace.
We have some very fond memories of both of you and in particular Shashi. He used to come to Mumbai alone so often and we met at each other's place on a number of occasions. He was so proud of his Dadar home and his favorite eating joint.
Do look after yourself now as you have to walk alone but I hope god will give you the strength to carry on with great memories of Shashi. Take care.
Jennifer and Ranjan

Shrikant kaka , our relationship was more as equals than a grandfather- granddaughter one.
While you mostly had a different opinion on my ways/approach to life there was always this positive encouragement you left me with.
Thank you for being that father figure to Shanjan & me and sharing so many memories that you had with our parents. We will cherish them for life.
Being the head of the family you always left us with a sense of belonging and a feeling of being a family. We are truly grateful for that.
I know you & baba are now watching over us while we are left with some amazing memories to cherish , until your last trip (during our weddings).
Shanjan, aai & me will remember you always - as a man who lived on his terms & never gave up. Love you.
