This picture was of better times. He was my father. We didn’t talk for many years. As a young child he was a great father. He use to take us shopping every weekend. He always listen to driving n crying on repeat and hootie and the blowfish. I wish he could have know his grandkids. Sending prayers to Amy and Samantha during this hard time for them.

Doug was my friend. I will always remember his great spirit and generosity for others. He was always genuine. There was not an ounce of ego in this Brother. I shall be forever grateful for having known this unselfish and caring man. Rest In Peace my friend!

He touched lives of many Masons in ways that most members didn't realize. He will be missed by all.

If you didn't know Br. Doug Ethridge personally you enjoyed the work he did each time you entered the Atlanta Masonic Center. Doug was the glue that kept our home together. Our halls are brighter because of the lighting he upgraded. Leaky plumbing was one of his top priorities. If it broke, he fixed it! Last Friday, he moved to a new venue. God and the Angels have the best building maintenance supervisor in heaven.

No one has ever shown the kind of love and selfless compassion to my father in-law and mother in-law, Carl and Ann Hyde, than Doug.
Not only a best friend, but we know he was sent by God to help them in their time of need.
He was an amazing friend to them and we are heartbroken at his untimely passing.
We will always have the fondest memories of this great man and wonderful family friend.
If everyone was like Doug, the world would be a better place!
