On January 16, 2020 Lynda Diane LeMaster, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, returned to her heavenly home unexpectedly following a recent prolonged illness. Lynda was born January 8, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and was raised in South Tucson Arizona where she met her beloved husband Jim of almost 50 years at age 4. She attended Sunnyside High School in Tucson and married her sweetheart Jim on April 19, 1970. Lynda spent much of her adult life in Tucson and in Glendale Arizona and had recently moved back to Tucson in 2017.
She is preceded in death by her parents RV and Jean Powell and sister Paula Ferro. She is survived by her husband, William James LeMaster Jr.; brother Armand (Denise) Powell; daughters Tracie (Bret) Scott and Natalie LeMaster; grandchildren Tyler (Anne) Scott, Weston (Brittney) Scott, Mason (Mackenzie) Scott and Madisyn Hostler; and great grand daughter Evelyn Rose Scott. Lynda loved her family dearly, she is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a loyal friend to all those who knew her. Lynda enjoyed hobbies of crafting, sewing, quilting and adored her dogs (Malie and Tinkerbell) and all other animals.
A memorial to celebrate Lynda’s life will be held Thursday January 30th, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the LDS chapel located at 105 North Norton Avenue, Tucson Arizona 85719.
