Grandma called me her handsome, and she knew how much I loved her granddaughter. I loved taking you to the thrift store and seeing where gaby got her thrifting side from. I joined the service and everytime you saw a man in Uniform on the TV you would always think it was me on the screen and be so proud of me. And how I got to rescue your dog Bonnie and I got to bring her back to you. Even when I wasnt in the family yet from the beginning you treated me like your grandson. I loved seeing you have your dentures in because you smiled ear to ear the whole time you had them in. We played so many games like the time gaby brought you a puzzle to do and you made her do all of it while we talked. I love you grandma. Play with Tara and our baby Honna we lost , thank you for going to every appointment with us, I glad she is with you, rest in peace Grandma.

She has always supported me, she gave me so much love, encouragement, advice, strength. She helped raise me , and since I can remember she has always been there for everything. I love that you taught me your baking skills, your love for every animal, to never stop learning, to continue praising GOD when things are going great or bad, always saying yes even when my Dad said no to all the dogs and crazy adventures I wanted to do. She was there when I graduated, all my games, my wedding, even when I failed at adulting . I am blessed I got to say goodbye and be there for you when you went home to heaven, I love you Grandma and your "handsome" loves you too and I will always want to hear you say 'Gaby my apple pan doubty". I will still never know why you called me that. I will forever miss the precious smile you gave me when I came into a room. I hope you're dancing in the sky with Grammps and Tara.

When her kids were little , Sandra would often bake the most delicious treats- pies with golden buttery crusts, thick cinnamon rolls slathered with creamy frosting, streusel, dinner rolls, and sweet breads studded with chocolate chips and fruit. I was amazed at how she could hold a conversation as she rolled, stirred, added butter, sprinkled sugar, all without a recipe. Sometimes I can see her in memory, flour casting a halo around as she worked, and wonder if she ever knew what an artist she was.

Aunt Butch, our beautiful Aunt Sandra, always welcomed me into her home whenever we would come to visit. I could sit and listen to her talk for hours, one side of her lips curled just a little more than the other when she talked, and there was always a sparkle in her eye. At dinner one night, they served steak and I took a bite that, I chewed for the longest time. She noticed and told me to go ahead and dispose of it and always loved to tease me about that, saying I was so sweet and polite I probably would have chewed it forever! Her house was such a fun house, with chameleons in her plants inside and ponds in the back yard. They ran a bait shop and took Mike and I fishing. Love her whole family, and will miss her so much! Love you Aunt Butch, god rest your soul!

Aunt Sandra was so full of life and love. All my memories of her are warm and sweet and full of laughter. She lit up the room and always had something nice to say. She was loving and fun and gorgeous! And she made me feel like I was special to her. I think she did that for everyone. She is someone who will always be very special to me.
I miss you Aunt Butchie 💖
God Bless
