STELLA DORIS DIGMAN passed away on October 1, 2019. She was born on January 9, 1918 to Herman and Pensa Kline in Olympia, Washington.
She lived most of her life in Olympia, Washington. She married Chester Digman on June 15, 1940. Stella was a homemaker for many years before she began her 22-year career with the State of Washington. She enjoyed fishing, rock-hounding, sewing, baking, and traveling. She was a member of the All Rockhound Pow Wow Club of America and Evergreen Christian Community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester, and two sisters, Ethel Briggs and Aimee Sundberg. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Smith and Catherine Simmons; five grandchildren, Erin Carpenter, Kristi Geisler, Kevin Simmons, Kurtis Simmons and Emmanuel Simmons; three great-grandchildren, Tamiah Mitchell, Emily Geisler and Isaac Geisler; two sisters Rose Anderson and JoAnne Kline; and a brother Ronald Kline.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on October 12, 2019 at the facilities at 706 Dennis Street SE, Tumwater, Washington.
