Toni Hall Averette, age 62, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, died September 18, 2018, at Park Manor Health and Rehab. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018, in Memory Hill Gardens with Timothy Eads officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Chandler Hall; sister, Terri Denise Hall; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Averette of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; daughter, Mari Frances Davis (Josh) of Stewart, Ala.; son, Rusty Averette (Laura) of Birmingham, Ala.; father, Sam Hall of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; grandchildren, Mary-Rose Davis of Stewart, Ala., Miller Caroline Averette of Birmingham, Ala.; and Rhett Averette of Birmingham, Ala.
Toni was a church organist for 37 years total. She was extremely creative and could educate even the most difficult child.
Toni was also a Sunday school teacher at both churches where she served. Her accomplishment she was most proud of was when she owned Okie Dokie Playschool.
She will be missed dearly by all.
Honorary pallbearers are her favorite caregiver, Tasha Thomas; precious and loyal cousins, Candy and Larry Osborn; special ""mom"", Delores Sargeant; former students of Okie Dokie Playschool; and longtime friend, Pam Loper.
