A visitation for Bill will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A graveside service will occur Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Memory Hill Gardens, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A committal service will occur Friday, November 9, 2018 at Memory Hill Gardens, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. An entombment will occur at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
Bill is survived by his wife, Joan Rohrer; sister Lyn Price (Ray), sister Becci Hayser (George), sister Beth Simmons (Fleet), brother Stephen Rohrer (Karen), brother Tim Rohrer (Stacey) and brother Mark Rohrer (Susan); grandson Aaron Watson age 12.
Bill was preceded in death by; daughter Amanda Rohrer Watson; father William McKinly Rohrer, Jr. and mother Jacqueline Rohrer; brother Ronald P. Rohrer.
Bill was an avid Alabama football fan. He grew up in Tuscaloosa and graduated from Tuscaloosa High School in 1971. He married his high school sweetheart whom he shared a phot/video business in Tuscaloosa for many years. He was enlisted in the Alabama National Guard achieving the rank of sargent. Bill and Joan moved to Louisiana 10 years ago to be near their grandson. After a long illness Bill went home to be with the lord and savior. In this life he will be greatly missed.
