Robert Darryl Adams

September 2, 1947July 26, 2019

Robert D. Adams was born September 2, 1947 and passed away on the 26th of July, 2019 at home after an evening with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Vicki; sons; Nick and Tyson and grandchildren; Zane, Trent, Serene, Hope and Isaac. He grew up in Colorado, served in the Air Force, and then attended San Jose Bible College. He preached at independent Christian Churches for 39 years in the Northwest. For sixteen of those years he ministered at the Community Christian Church in Twin Falls, ID. After his retirement he drove truck for DOT foods for nine years. Bob had passion for knowing God better and leading others closer to him. He strove to be obedient to the God as he discovered in the Bible. Bob did his best to pass this desire to know God better on to everyone he met. He never knew what a stranger was and many new acquaintances became dear friends. Even in his old age he was willing to change to be more like our Savior. Bob deeply enjoyed woodworking. He loved designing presents for the people who were dear to him. He called his shop his “play house” and most people got a tour of it. He will be missed. Arrangements are under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Chapel.

It is hard to believe Bob is gone. We have talked many times over the years since his brother Wayne passed. I was so grateful Bob was here with my mom then. Bob and I grew a little closer over the past few years and he always had a way of cheering my up if I was having a bad day. So many of the Adams' cousins are gone now and enjoying being with the Lord. Thanks Bob for being you.

Many good memories of cousin Bob at their house and family reunions. So much fun and how he loved to tease me! Their family circle is complete. We'll see you later because of the hope and promise of Jesus.

My memories of Bob were of time spent with a special guy. I was fortunate to grow up near him and experience his oneriness and humor. My heart goes out to his family. Much Love
