Mitzi Jan Migura

June 13, 1956January 6, 2021

Mitzi Jan Migura, age 64, of Tyler, Texas left this world to join her Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Mitzi was born June 13, 1956.

Mitzi was born in Tyler, Tx, and spent her whole life here. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. She started out as a respiratory therapist, but soon decided that she wanted to work as a teacher at Green Acres Baptist Church. She spent her life devoted to teaching young children about her wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ. She has touched many lives throughout her life, but none more so than her family. There was no greater love to her than God, Christ, and her family. She demonstrated this every day of her life. Heaven rejoiced the moment she entered those gates. While we will miss her every day, we will always feel the impact she has on us for the rest of our lives.

"Well done my good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:21 “The Lord is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Mitzi was preceded in death by her loving parents, Doug and Joy Matthews.

Mitzi is survived by her loving husband, Mark Migura; 3 children, Shawn, Alicia, and Michael; and 6 grandchildren, Bailee, Samantha, Beckett, Ryan, Reagan, and Riley.

Mitzi's graveside services for family and close friends will be held at Tyler Memorial Gardens on Saturday, January 9, 2021 under the direction of Pastor Steve Layton.

Sending lots of love and prayers to your family. Mitzi was such a beautiful lady inside and out. I have so many fun memories of working with her at Green Acres many years ago. She has blessed the lives of many children, my oldest being one of them. I will continue to keep the family in my prayers.

I did not have the ability to know Mitzi well but I witnessed for myself that she was the apple of her parents' and grandparents' eyes and loved by all who knew her! Mitzi's love of Jesus, her dedicated service to children and her church, warrants that she be "called an oak of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, for the display of His Splendor!" Isaiah 61:3 NIV

She will be greatly missed!

May the LORD Jesus Christ, GOD the Father of compassion and the HOLY SPIRIT, our Great Comforter, be with Mitzi's family now.

My deepest sympathies,
Ellen (Wood) Jones

Mitzi was a sweet sister to me for over 40 years, ALWAYS with a smile on her face. May God wrap Mark, Shawn, Alicia, Michael, and all the grandkids in His comfort and peace as they mourn the enormous loss of their dearly loved wife, mother, and grandmother.
