John J Bongalis, age 81, of Universal City, Texas passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020. John was born January 9, 1939.

John is survived by his wife, Winnie Bongalis; sons Randy Bongalis and Michael Bongalis, daughter Cindy Wilcox; sisters Janet Nesmith, Vickie Bowman, Linda Cabell, Betty Raynes, and Sherry Hager.

John was preceded in death by parents James and Gladys Bongalis; sisters Mary Pyles, Brenda Morris, Pauline Shrewsbury, Constance Bongalis, and Grace Scarbo, and brothers Billy Bongalis, Nick Bongalis, and Paul Bongalis.

A graveside service for John will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
