John Ross Breckenridge, age 80, of Converse, Texas passed away on Sunday October 6, 2019 at Esplanade Gardens Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Morgan Breckenridge, and son Ross Moerbe and his wife, Jessica Moerbe. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Breckenridge-Martin; and her two children, James Martin and Karen Martin, James' children Breck and Michayla, and Karen's children Jeremy and Lanie.
John loved the Lord and he loved his family. He was a funny man who had many friends from his hometown of Houston and other places where he and Sandra lived: Holiday Island, AR; Sanderson, TX and San Antonio.
John graduated from Kincaid High School in Houston and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. John joined the U.S. Army and later married Sandra. They both worked for A. G. Edwards & Sons in Holiday Island, Arkansas.
John leaves behind a legacy of kindness. Sandra still resides at Esplanade Gardens in San Antonio.
A memorial service for John will be held Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.
