"Lindle Wheeler Steen passed away March 11, 2019, at age 91 of pneumonia. He was a resident of Brushy Creek Nursing and Rehab in Austin, Texas. He was born in Frost, Texas, on January 12, 1928. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1946 to 1949, and received a Good Conduct Medal and an Honorable Discharge. He was married to Marie Steen (née Blake) and is survived by his daughter Lynn Marks of Shelbyville, Indiana, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He had a stillborn son, Michael. He is also survived by his nephew David Robbins and great niece Marian Culpepper. He was a Christian, and enjoyed going to church and singing in the choir when he was younger. He loved bowling and was in a bowling league. He was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. He had a radiant smile. He will be missed."
