Hi Dad,
On July 10, 2017 we lost Mom and now I lost you March 9, 2018. This has been the worst times of my life. You were my parents but you were also my friends. I never thought I could be more proud of you but every time I read your letters of commendations , medals and your responsibilities with the USAF I am filled with pride. In my eyes you were the world and someone I looked up to. I always wished I could be just like you. I can only hope you were proud of me. I know when Mom passed away your heart was broken and your life was shattered. My only prayer is for the two of you to be together and to enjoy eternity. You will be truly missed. No words can express how much I love and miss you both. I hope someday I will see you both again till then I have my memories in my heart from my life with you.
Forever your proud and loving son,
Richard II

Bumpy was the most loving, generous, and kind man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is, by far, the most amazing grandfather and great-grandfatber; my sons and I miss him greatly. We love you Bumpy, and know that you are dancing to polka music with Nanny now.

I am deeply saddened by Uncle Dick's passing and send my deepest sympathy and prayers to the family. The love between him and Aunt Joan was evident every time I saw them when they came back to Rossford to visit his Mom and Dad. I remember how excited his parents were to see all of his family whenever they were able to visit them, which wasn't as often as they would have liked. They were also extremely proud of him for serving his country for so many years, although it caused the family to move numerous times throughout the country as military families have to do. I am very thankful I had met up Uncle Dick and Aunt Joan, Richard, Robbie, and several other of their family members six years ago when I spent a week in Texas. We went out to eat several times, spent time visiting and more. Uncle Dick was adamant he was paying for the meals even though I offered to pay my share or treat one of the times. It was also enjoyable meeting up with Richard, Robbie, and Pam and getting reacquainted with them and their families last July, although it was for Aunt Joan's passing.
May God bless and comfort all of you in this time of loss.
Mike and Luann
