Eleanor Calderas Noriega was called to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 25, 2022. She was preceded in eternal life by her husband Benjamin G. Noriega, her Parents, and (2) brothers and (2) sisters.
She is survived by her three (3) children, Karilyn (Carol) Espinosa of Colorado, Roselyn (Rosie) Pacheco of Upland, Raul Noriega of Garden Grove, and her sister Rose Barr of Fremont. Eleanor was blessed with having (11) grandchildren, (40) great-grandchildren, (4) great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and (2) sister-in-laws.
Eleanor was a resident of Upland for over (72) years where Benjamin and her raised their children together. She was an incredibly loyal and hardworking wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a Cosmetologist by trade and became the owner of Montclair Hair Fashions. Eleanor was in her element of profession when she was making others look & feel beautiful. She was a member of El Siglo XX Corporation and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Our Lady of Fatima, Court #1387.
The Celebration of Life services for Eleanor will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the Stone Funeral Home (355 E. 9th Street, Upland, CA 91786). Family viewing will be 8:30-9:30 AM to allow them time to say their last farewells. Public viewing will follow immediately from 9:30-9:45 AM.
A Rosary will begin promptly at 9:45 AM, followed by funeral services at 10 AM. Eleanor will begin her physical journey to Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA) departing promptly at 11:30 AM. If you intend to join us, please arrive no later than 12:45 PM to the Riverside National Cemetery staging area. The main entry gate will provide the information and location. Eleanor’s services will begin immediately at 1:00 PM.
At approximately 2:00 PM, a reception will be hosted by the family at the Orangecrest Club, 1175 E. Alessandro Boulevard, Riverside, CA (951.656.7232).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Eleanor’s name to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, and/or the American Cancer Society (Benjamin).
