Loretta Lucille Bratton, 79, of Mulberry, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Fort Smith. She was born August 29, 1938 in Springdale. She was a retired registered nurse with Sparks Regional Medical Center, and a member of the Mulberry First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Toy McCoy and Ethel Bright; a daughter, Lisa Bratton; a son, Nathan Bratton; and a brother, Bucky McCoy.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Bratton of the home; two daughters, Terri Bratton of Mulberry, and Becci Waldrop of Alma; a sister, Alice Ladd of Malvern; a brother, Chris Bright of Alma; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Mulberry First Assembly of God with interment to follow at New Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Chad Waldrop, Sam Bright, Lee Bright, T.J. Smither, Bobby Waldrop, and Steve Shipley.
The family will visit with friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.

Your wife and mom was my first Charge Nurse 42 yrs ago. She was always so kind and gentle. She never raised her voice to me and always was patient with me while teaching me the ins and outs of SICU nursing. Rest well my friend, you deserve your crown of glory.
