Dr. Rhoads was my gifted and talented teacher from 1991 to 1994, and I am a teacher because of her. She got to know her students personally, let them explore their own interests, and took so much of her personal time to help us try to reach our potential. I went to Washington, D.C. with her twice, and at one point she withstood listening to at least 6 hours of American Pie on repeat with a mini-van full of 13 year olds singing at the top of their lungs. She exemplified patience, encouragement, and love to her students.
I try every day to teach like she did! She will be missed.

The first time I met her was at our womens conference. You could feel the spirit all over her. She smiled and told me God loves you sis just as I do. She was such an inspiration to me. She is in heaven talking to Jesus now waiting on us. Love you Brother Rhoads her journey is over and you will see her again with no pain. God bless

Sister Rhoads was such a wonderful Woman of God. I loved her beautiful smile and all the years of teaching and leadership at Cliff Terrace! She came and played at my wedding because I loved to hear her play! She will be greatly missed! Praying for her family and friends! Our lives were better for knowing her!

Her eyes smiled all the time. She was always sharing something with others. In this picture she was sharing with my daughter sea shells she had found. I remember her praising the Lord with all that she had in her. My heart is sad that she isn’t on this earth any longer but I am blessed that I got to know her.

Thanks for being our spiritual mother for all these years. We were born at Cliff Terrace and you and Pastor David have looked after us ever since. No one has prayed harder or longer or celebrated our victories more than you. Your truly an exceptional person in every sense of the word. We will be looking forward to the day we will see your smiling face again . Very well done !!!
