Jacob Allen Brown

Jacob A. Brown, 28, of Goliad, passed away June 28, 2010. He was born on December 11, 1981, in Victoria to Dennis W. Brown of Victoria and Beverly Ann Haschke Martin and husband, Jimmie,of Goliad. Jacob worked in the oilfield but his true love was hunting and fishing or riding his dirt bike. His free spirit will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include his daughter, Payge Dixie Brown,of Goliad; brother, Chris Brown, and wife, Jennifer, of Houston; sister, Marilyn Barrett and husband, Geoff, of Oregon; grandparents, Anton and Christine Haschkeof Goliad. Jacob is also survived by a large extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Virginia Jones.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, 3304 Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, Texas, 77904.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 2, 2010, at 10 am at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, with Reverend John Dellis officiating. A private family burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for final expenses.
