Mary Folse Kessel, 103, of Victoria passed away January 15, 2019. She was born October 24, 1915 in Raceland, LA to William A. Folse and Julia Hebert Folse. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Margaret Kessel of Belton and Jeanne Kessel Meinke (Ronnie) of Victoria; grandchildren, Robert D. Meinke (Kryssy), Corie L. Marquez (Manuel) and Randy A. Meinke (Jodi); and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Seferin John Kessel; parents; sister, Odette F. Thurman; and brothers, John A. Folse and Raymond Folse.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 6-7 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 21, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Harbor Hospice.
