Memory was a longtime employee of the Pool and Rogers Paving Co in Buda, TX.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1955 where he received many medals and commendations. Memory was also a member of the VFW Post #2933 and Texas Paralyzed Veterans Association.
He is survived by his sister, Jo Anne Hough (Bill), of Victoria; long time friend, Nori Haag, of Taylor; niece, Cathy Hopping (Jim), of Victoria; nephews, James Hough (Rebecca), of Victoria; Billy Hough (Jean), of Spicewood and Tom Hough, of Tomball; members of the F.L. Fossati family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 6 to 7pm at Colonial Funeral Home with a rosary starting at 7pm with Deacon Jim Koenig officiating.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013, 10 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Msgr. Celestino Say officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery with full Military Honors under the auspices of the Victoria County Veterans Council.
Pallbearers are John Hudson, Jim Covington, Billy Hough, James Hough, Ethan Hough, Johnny Bomersbach. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom Hough, Jim Hopping, Ryan Hopping, Bradley Haag, Lance Haag and Rabb Wyatt.
Memorials may be made to Bluebonnet Auxiliary at Hill Country Care, 1505 Hwy 290 West, Dripping Springs, TX 78620 or to the local Disabled Veterans Association.
