Sharon Vitopil Brzozowske, 75, passed away surrounded by her family on June 3, 2019. Sharon was born at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX to the late WWII Fighter Pilot, Frank John Vitopil and Estelle Murrie Vitopil. Sharon was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Walter Travis Brzozowske; daughters, Denise Sanders (Steven) of San Antonio, TX, Lori Rodgers (Scott) of Victoria, TX; sisters, Marilyn Judy (Virgil) of San Antonio, TX, Janice Schrader (Ed) of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX and Sharon's beautiful grandchildren, Andrew Sanders, Allison Sanders, Kylie Rodgers, Gracen Rodgers, Austin Sanders and Alec Sanders.
Sharon's volunteer passions included Our Lady of Victory School Board Secretary and PTC member. Also, Sharon enjoyed working with the HEAR Foundation in Victoria. She enjoyed traveling, cruises and slot machine action. Finally, Sharon loved card playing, card friends and many decades of playing dominoes with the Bergers and the Melnars.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 7, 2019 at 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with a reception to immediately follow.
A private graveside service will follow at their family cemetery.
Pallbearers are Scott Rodgers, Steven Sanders, Andrew Sanders, Austin Sanders, Bob Melnar and Warner Sanders.
Honorary pallbearer is Godfred Berger,Jr.
